Private and Semi-Private Lessons

We offer lessons for all levels of riders: beginners, intermediates, and advanced competitive riders. Our lesson students are always offered the opportunity to travel with Kayleen to participate in local unrecognized and recognized events up and down the east coast.

  • Beginner lessons are where new riders learn the foundation of horseback riding and horsemanship. Beginner lessons are private, one hour lessons for $70.

    All beginner lessons include the following:

    • Horsemanship best practices: learning a horses body language, general horse safety

    • Grooming and tack instruction

    • How to Ride: including proper seat, balance, hand and leg placement

    • Untacking and end of ride care

  • After you’ve mastered the basics we offer a private or semi private (depending on needs of rider) 30 min lesson. You will be riding the entire time and this lesson can be challenging…in a good way!

    • Private 30 min lesson $55 includes flatwork and jumping or dressage

    • Private 45 min $65 includes the above, and can be more challenging

    *30min and 45 min lessons are only avail to clients who are able to tack and warm up their horses unassisted

  • Interested in learning to ride, but not sure you want to sign up for weekly lessons? Or maybe you’re interested in learning more about KNK’s riding style before signing up. Take an assessment ride!

    Assessment Rides are $65 and last 45min - 1 hour, depending on the needs of the rider. This will be a full tack-up-to-tack-down ride.
